Who Are Our Services For?

What Is ABA Therapy?
ABA therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals develop meaningful skills across communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, daily living, and learning. Using individualized strategies and positive reinforcement, ABA focuses on building strengths, increasing independence, and supporting long-term success across home, school, and community environments.

Meet the Clinical Director
Dorian Mitchell, MS, BCBA, LBS, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the Clinical Director of Cabana Behavioral Health. He brings more than 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, families, and school teams across educational, home, and community settings. His clinical approach combines evidence-based behavioral intervention with compassion, collaboration, and individualized care designed to help children build meaningful, lasting progress.
Dorian holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from St. Joseph's University, a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College, and advanced graduate training in Applied Behavior Analysis through the University of Massachusetts. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with children presenting with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental disabilities, emotional regulation challenges, and complex behavioral needs.
In addition to his clinical work, Dorian has served in leadership and consultation roles supporting school-based teams, behavior intervention planning, staff development, and professional training. His philosophy emphasizes family partnership, emotional well-being, practical collaboration, and the creation of supportive environments where children can thrive both academically and socially.
